I have one class of high school Russian second level, with 14 students of Russian as a Foreign language and 3 Russian-speaking heritage learners. In 2009-2010 there were two tracks of Russian, two classes of RFE and one class (mixed levels) for Russian heritage students. This program was contracted to one class in 2010-2011 by the school district for budgetary reasons.

There are two types of programs offered

1. Russian/English Two-Way Immersion Program
The core curriculum is taught in both Russian and English with
the emphasis on achieving fluency in both languages.

2. FLES - (Foreign Language in an Elementary Setting)
Russian is taught to students in the classroom as a foreign
language.
