We are piloting the Aspect in Russian Media Book from Dr. Laura Jaunda at the University of North Carolina. We are offer the International Bacalaureate diploma at Booker T. High School which is a public magnet high school. My website is:

Comment
I am the only German teacher at my school, as well as the Russian teacher. My German enrollment (5 of the 5 classes I teach -- Russian 2 and German 4 meet the same hour --) has increased, but our budget has decreased, thus, no money to hire additional German faculty. The decision was made to eliminate Russian so that I could handle the German - although I will probably still have a split German 3 and 4, or 2 and 4 since the enrollment probably will not qualify German 4 for a separate class. There must be 15 students for that to happen.
If you teach Russian and another language, be careful not to work yourself out of one of the positions. I shall miss teaching Russian. |
