Bronze Bay
     The underlying f(z) has an attracting fixed point cycle of order four, and another of order 12.  This was an early discovery, but the fixed point structure did not become clear until much later.

     I love the way this image incorporates the smoothly varying piece in the center with the detail around the edges.  Apparently the underlying f(z) does not have any attracting fixed points or cycles.
