Comment
At Portland Public Schools we offer the Russian/English Two-Way Immersion Program at K-5, Middle and are starting the Russian Immersion High school class in the Fall 2016. In elementary (grades K-5) school the core curriculum is taught in both Russian and English with the emphasis on achieving fluency in both languages. In middle school (grades 6-8) the cohort of Russian Immersion students are offered Russian Language Arts and Social Studies in Russian.
