116 total students (ages 7-18)
for the summer 2003. Levels at all ages
vary from novice to heritage speakers. The
program is residential, and students stay
for one, two or four weeks. The four-week
high school program is approximately equal
to one year of high school study.

Comment
We mainly work with heritage speakers of Russian: majority of students come from Russian-speaking families. A limited number of students study Russian as a foreign language. Russian is offered for 1 class (45 min) every day. Music is taught both in English and in Russian. In addition, Russian Studies curriculum is implemented in English through Social Studies and Language Arts. The actual levels of these students are:
