Raluca Monet has over 10 years of experience
in finance, strategy formulation and advisory experience, working directly
with CXO level executives to improve profitability and create sustainable
growth for corporations. Raluca’s areas of expertise include strategy
formulation, organizational transformation, operational strategy, profit
improvement and performance measurement. Raluca is a recipient of several
awards at Unisys and received national distinction for academic achievement
in marketing.
Raluca currently serves as the Director
of Operations for Federal Systems at Unisys. In this role, Raluca is
responsible for improving business performance by providing frameworks
for organizing, automating and analyzing business methodologies, developing
and tracking metrics, optimizing processes and systems that drive business
performance.
Since joining Unisys in 2004 Raluca
has held a number of positions, including Financial Analysis Manager
for Global Public Sector and Operations Manager for Global Industries.
In 2005, Raluca led a 12 month strategy articulation initiative and developed
a Federal Change Agenda that aligned client, financial, staff and portfolio
components with the Federal strategy.
Raluca has played leadership roles
in and outside Unisys. In the last three years at Unisys, she has served
on the board of Women in Leadership, an organization which provides
women with opportunities to grow professionally and personally through
leadership, education, networking, support and recognition. Outside of
Unisys, Raluca serves as Advocacy Chair for the Washington-based Women
in Technology (WIT) organization which promotes women’s advancement
in all fields of technology. She is a past CFO (2007-2009) and an active
member.
Prior to her role at Unisys, Raluca was
a Financial Analyst for Washington DC based Intelsat, a leading provider
of fixed satellite services worldwide. In this role, Raluca provided
senior level expertise for a broad range of highly complex financial
and business analysis to support the CFO.
Raluca
holds an MBA in Finance from American University’s
Kogod School of Business. |
